Some powerful words on officiallyhappy.com/advice
How do you make the best out of a massive adjustment?
"By analyzing the situation. A while ago I learned that everything is fleeting, that only change is constant. I've never liked to feel fear. Because of that, I've worked hard to distance myself from the things that make me nervous because I think that fear is an instinct that we've developed to survive. Besides that, I read the Iching (The Book of Changes). He's the oldest and wisest oracle that I've ever found. If you have an important question about life and pose it well, he will answer it sensibly. It has helped me make decisions in incredibly complicated moments. Although, when I sailed, all I had to do was stick to what my Dad had told me to do in the case of an emergency: use the radio and scream "May day, May day," until someone showed up to help.”

Two Halves Don't Really Make a Whole
Two halves may make a whole but what I've realized about after being in a relationship for two and a half years is the following: two insecure people can't make a whole. Both people need to make something out of their lives. They both need to be active, be happy, be satisfied on their own. They need to resolve all of their individual problems by themselves. And only when they are healthy in that way will it truly work.
Take time to take care of yourself. My friend told me this once. When you're by yourself, you really care about how you're feeling, how you're eating etc. It's important to establish this or else you'll never be able to inspire the person you're with. You'll never be able to be inspired by them. There's nothing more unfulfilling than that.

The Happy Blog is Out!
I don't think I've ever been so filled with inspiration in my life. So many things in my life right now are coming together in ways that I never thought were possible. I finally launched the Happy Blog and even if it isn't successful and we don't get the fan base that we're hoping to get, I fucking did it. I literally put my vulnerability on the line and released something that I thought could have an impact on other people the same way that it did on me.
The feedback I've been getting is incredible.
"What's this happy blog thing? One of the best pages I've ever been invited to hahaha."
"Who are your friends? They sound so so chill. Like genuinely one of the coolest concepts I've ever heard of."
"It looks so good Pao."
"Your project is dope. Big fan. Your whole wall is posts of the Happy Blog :)"
"I invited my friends to the page and I realized, who wouldn't want to join something with the name 'The Happy Blog?''"
"If people reject, I'll reinvite them. I have a good feeling about your blog :)"
Thank you so much everyone!! You guys made my day yesterday. I have never been so happy in my life (irony is real). This project has been in my head for way too long and all I wanted to do was just get it out to share it!

I've Buried my Love to Give the World to You
I'm building this house on the moon
Like a lost astronaut
Lookin at you, like a star
From the place, the world forgot
From the place, the world forgot
And there's nothing that I can do
Except bury my love for you
The brightness of the sun will give me just enough
To bury my love, in the moondust
I long to hear your voice, but still I make the choice
To bury my love, in the moondust
What my Schedule Looks Like Right Now
I'm in love with everything that I'm doing right now because it's the first time in the two years that I've been at McGill, that I'm actually involved in everything that I want to be doing right now.
- Anthropology of the Animal
- Personality and Social Psychology
- Perception
- Psychology of Bilingualism
- Kickboxing twice a week
- Word and Colour, every day
- Phonathon twice a week
- The Happy Blog, every day! :)

On breakups and recovery...
I really liked this post on Word and Colour because I think that love and breakups is something that highly attracts people and is a topic that should go through as many conversation changes as any other topics of oppression. Give it a read!
"This story focuses on the difficulty of erasing smudges from a mind as you leave someone...Getting to know people means creating mental lists of things said, or actions you find out they did, or what they wanted you to find out, or that they performed in front of you, or objects they owned, as you etched a character-sketch. Language makes it impossible for anybody to know everything about anyone."
